Yoga + Surf, a match made in beach heaven! Whether you are a surfer, a weekend warrior, or it’s your first time doing any of the two; this yoga lesson will help you build strength, balance, and flexibility, all essential to your surf session or training. Experience our unique Basic Yoga class focusing on fluid movements and proper techniques to prep for an optimum surfing class. Warm up, strengthen your upper body and stretch your lower body while learning the surfing pop up right before catching some waves.
Enjoy a Basic Yoga class on a stand-up paddleboard while exploring the beautiful canals of the Loiza mangroves. We will warm up by paddling into a special spot, were will anchor our boards for our class. Calm water and local charm await at every turn. To begin, check in at DRIFT and we will transport you to the lagoon for SUP class. Approximately 30 minutes will be spent paddleboarding in Laguna La Torrecilla and around 60 hour will be dedicated to the yoga class on the SUP.

Taking your love for yoga to the next level, Heal’d at Drift has created a series of unique experiences that combine fitness, specialized gear, and beautiful natural settings. Swap the mat for a paddleboard or end with a yummy massage at our wellness center.
All of our Yoga classes, except SUP and special events, take place outdoors in front of our home beach on a floating deck overlooking the ocean on the sand. We’ve designed this space to elevate your experience with a clean and stable ground for your practice. However, it’s still a raw outdoor experience and you’ll probably be in contact with sand, water, sun, breeze and the ecosystem that surrounds us, which is part of our charm anyway!
Please come in 15-20 min prior to your class for check-in. You’ll check at SURF’D school at DRIFT, where you’ll be guided to our Beach yoga deck for class or transported to the lagoon for SUP experiences. After your relaxing class Feel free to stay lounging at the beach, get some TLC in our beach massage hut, or grab some healthy bites while you enjoy the view.

YES. If you can breathe you can do Yoga. No flexibility? No problem, yoga will loosen you up. Don’t know your ASANAS? Don’t worry, at HEAL’D our beginner teachers are fully bilingual and will provide plenty of specific instruction, so you’ll learn the basics. However, please notify us ahead of time if you have a physical condition or limitation.
